Job summary

The Automotive Service Advisor advises customers on vehicle service needs, creates repair orders, communicates with the service department, and ensures customer satisfaction. Requires experience in auto/truck tire, lubrication, and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a retail or service environment, and familiarity with vehicle repair research software.

Responsibilities

Meet and greet customers promptly, determine the nature of their vehicle problems, and create repair orders. Communicate with the service department and review completed repairs with customers.

Qualifications

Communication Skills Computer Literacy Customer Service Repair Order creation Use of Mitchell Repair, Activant, All-Data Vehicle Maintenance

A high school diploma or comparable vocational training is required, along with knowledge of computerized sales software and auto maintenance issues. Preferred experience includes 2+ years in a retail environment and 3+ years as a Service Advisor.
