Job summary

Waymo seeks a Staff Software Engineer with expertise in distributed systems, AI/ML, and agentic AI development to design and build multi-agent orchestration frameworks and autonomous workflows for evaluating autonomous driving behavior. Responsibilities include developing scalable AI components, embedding autonomous agents into the evaluation lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requires 5+ years in software engineering, proficiency in Python and C++, and experience with large-scale data and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the architectural design and development of Agentic AI components and scalable workflows to automate event triage for the Waymo Driver. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate autonomous agents into the evaluation lifecycle and drive the technical roadmap.

Qualifications
