Job summary

The Fitness Manager is responsible for overseeing gym operations, leading fitness trainers, managing member engagement, developing class timetables, and supporting the General Manager to ensure operational standards and compliance are met.

Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in running the gym and deputise in their absence, leading fitness trainers and improving member engagement and satisfaction. Manage group exercise programming, operational standards, health and safety checks, supplier coordination, and administrative tasks.

Customer service Fitness instruction Group exercise development Health & Safety compliance Team leadership

Applicants should be passionate about fitness and wellbeing, lead by example, and be committed to delivering excellent member service while meeting compliance requirements. A Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification or current study toward it is required, along with a proven record of success.
