Job summary

The Registered Nurse in a physician practice provides patient care, assists with examinations and procedures, administers medications and immunizations, manages patient communication and follow-up, documents in electronic health records, and supports population health efforts in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse assesses patients, performs triage, and assists physicians with examinations and procedures in an ambulatory setting. They also manage patient education, coordinate care, and maintain clinical documentation within the electronic health record.

Candidates must hold a current state RN license and have successfully completed the NCLEX-RN examination. A minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing is required, with one to two years of ambulatory or medical-surgical experience preferred.
