Job summary

Responsible for ensuring machine change overs, stoppages, and breakdowns are managed timely with minimal disruption to production. Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, program PLCs, improve processes, and ensure compliance with GMP standards. Collaborate on continuous improvement projects and maintain documentation, supporting safe and efficient equipment operation.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, machine changeovers, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems to ensure production efficiency. They will also lead engineering improvement projects and ensure all activities comply with GMP guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

Continuous Improvement Design of Experiments Electrical Maintenance Electrical Systems GMP Compliance Mechanical Design Mechanical Engineering PLC Programming Problem Solving Troubleshooting

Candidates must hold an Advanced Certificate (Craft-level 6 NFQ) or a degree in an engineering discipline, along with at least 4 years of relevant experience. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a regulated environment are essential for this role.
