Job summary

Support residents with personal care and medication, supervise care assistants, ensure health and safety, and support independence and dignity in an extra care housing setting.

Responsibilities

Provide residents with personal care and support their independence, dignity, choice, and participation in community life. Lead and mentor care assistants, maintain accurate care records, administer medication safely, and uphold health, safety, infection-control, and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

Applicants need experience in social care, with experience in an extra-care or housing scheme valued, and an NVQ or Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or be working toward one. The role also requires compassion, respect, strong communication, leadership and organizational skills, and the right to work in the UK.
