Job summary

Registered Nurse (RN) in adult elderly acute care unit working night shifts, caring for patients with conditions like postoperative recovery, COPD, stroke, and dementia, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, requiring at least one year of inpatient hospital experience, DE RN license or Compact license, and a passion for elderly care.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate medical care to elderly patients on the Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) unit. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, pharmacists, and physical therapists to manage complex health conditions.

Qualifications

ACUTE Care Collaboration Communication Skills Compassionate Care Elderly Care Gerontology Nursing Patient Care

Requires a DE RN License or Compact Nursing License and at least one year of inpatient hospital experience. A BSN is preferred, and BLS certification is mandatory.
