The Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer will focus on Continuous Improvement for actuator products, leading failure analysis, root cause investigations, and design changes to eliminate defects, improve reliability, and support global manufacturing.

Responsibilities

The Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer will lead failure analysis and root cause investigations for actuator products to improve reliability and manufacturability. They will also drive design changes through Engineering Change Orders and collaborate with global manufacturing partners to ensure product maturity.

Qualifications

CAD design for manufacturability electromechanical assemblies Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) failure analysis JAMA Jira PLM systems Root Cause Analysis Smartsheets

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 7 years of experience in design or sustaining engineering. Proficiency in 3D CAD, PLM systems, and formal hardware problem-solving methodologies is required.
