Job summary

The RN in ICU provides safe and effective patient care through continuous assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions aligned with the medical care plan, with a focus on critical care and emergency skills.

Responsibilities

Perform systematic and continuous assessments of the physical, emotional, and clinical needs of ICU patients and their families. Implement and evaluate nursing care plans in collaboration with the medical team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Qualifications

AHA ACLS AHA BLS Crisis Intervention (CPI) Critical Care Nursing CRRT Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump Training NIH Stroke Scale Nursing Patient Care Trauma Nursing (TNCC)

Requires a current Missouri or compact state Registered Nurse license and various certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale. Candidates must obtain IABP, CRRT, and TNCC certifications within specified timeframes after hire.
