Job summary

Maintenance Operative responsible for general building maintenance across properties, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with standards. Tasks include fault reporting, liaising with subcontractors, conducting safety tests, and managing repairs and waste, to support safe and welcoming housing environments.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Operative will provide general building maintenance services across a designated portfolio to ensure properties are safe, functional, and compliant with Home Office standards. Responsibilities include reporting faults, liaising with subcontractors, performing PAT testing, and collaborating with Housing Officers to manage property repairs.

Qualifications

Candidates must have experience in building maintenance or a relevant trade and possess knowledge of health and safety principles. A valid UK driving licence and the ability to obtain government security clearance are required for this role.
