Job summary

Seeking a skilled maintenance engineer for a food production facility to provide technical support, perform maintenance, diagnose faults, support process improvements, and ensure safety standards.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide technical support across all manufacturing and packaging lines, ensuring optimum equipment reliability and minimal downtime. Responsibilities include carrying out planned preventative maintenance and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.

Qualifications

Continuous Improvement Diagnose and Rectify Faults Electrical Fault Finding Food Safety Standards Gas Safety Certification Health & Safety Standards Hygiene Standards Mechanical Systems PLC-controlled Equipment Preventive Maintenance (PPM)

Candidates should have a time-served engineering qualification or equivalent and proven experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical fault finding is essential.
