Job summary

The Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for designing electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial projects, including specifications, calculations, layouts, and field support. The role requires extensive experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, familiarity with standards like NEC, and leadership skills to guide project teams. Key tasks include developing single line diagrams, equipment specs, conduit routing, and ensuring code compliance.

Responsibilities

The Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing complex electrical and instrumentation systems while providing technical guidance to junior staff. They will manage project scopes, perform field data collection, and ensure all designs meet safety, budget, and schedule requirements.

Qualifications

Conduit Routing Drafting Standards Electrical Design Electrical Engineering Instrumentation Engineering Material Take-Offs Power System Design Project Management Single Line Diagrams Technical Guidance

Candidates must hold a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and possess 6 or more years of relevant industrial experience. Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred, along with proficiency in CAD software and knowledge of NEC and ISA standards.
