Job summary

The Senior Fullstack Software Development Engineer at Remitly will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable financial services, leading projects, mentoring team members, and collaborating cross-functionally to build the Remitly Global Card platform.

Responsibilities

You will own features end-to-end, including customer-facing screens, backend APIs, and services for card issuance and money movement. Additionally, you will lead team projects, mentor peers, and set technical standards for quality, security, and scalability.

Qualifications

Cloud Infrastructure (AWS) Fullstack Development Java Mentoring Observability Project Management Security TypeScript

Candidates must have at least 5 years of software engineering experience and expertise in backend or full-stack programming languages like Go, Kotlin, Java, or TypeScript. A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is required, along with a strong background in cloud-based infrastructure and project leadership.
