Job summary

The Site Manager oversees on-site maintenance, safety, team management, and operational activities within a warehouse environment involving electro-mechanical systems, budget management, and customer relations.

Responsibilities

Lead the site’s maintenance team and operations, ensuring safe and effective maintenance of automated materials handling systems, customer satisfaction, SLA delivery, and budget control. Manage training, customer escalations, site improvements, reporting, and team performance while supporting wider organisational initiatives.

Qualifications

Budget management CMMS Communication skills Customer service Data analysis Electromechanical systems Leadership Lean / 6 Sigma Safety management Team management

Candidates need an HNC/D, NVQ Level 5, or relevant higher engineering qualification, operational experience in an automated distribution or manufacturing facility, and experience managing teams of five or more. They should bring strong Lean or Six Sigma experience, electro-mechanical and software systems knowledge, CMMS familiarity, excellent communication and leadership skills, and strong analytical and reporting abilities; NEBOSH Managing Safety is desirable.
