Job summary

Registered Nurse provides patient care, assessments, and treatment coordination, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centric healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, assess and monitor patients, administer treatments and medications, and document patient status and outcomes. Coordinate care with physicians and other team members, provide patient and family education, delegate care activities, and support safe discharge planning.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current New York State Registered Professional Nurse license are required; specialized certifications may also be required. A bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred, and the nurse must enroll in an accredited BSN program within two years and earn the degree within five years of starting the job.
