Job summary

Seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for supporting the Client Design Authority in the nuclear sector or high-regulated industries, focusing on infrastructure design, reliability, and safety.

Responsibilities

Produce and review high-quality infrastructure design packages and technical specifications for the Client Design Authority. Evaluate asset suitability, ageing mechanisms, and maintenance procedures to ensure safe and effective facility operations.

Qualifications

Analytical skills Communication skills Design standards (British and international) Infrastructure evaluation Maintenance & operations procedures Mechanical Design Mechanical Engineering Project management Regulated industry experience Systems: pumps, cranes, HVAC, pressure systems, diesel generators

Requires an HNC or equivalent in engineering with strong mechanical design experience in the nuclear or a similarly regulated industry. A degree in Mechanical Engineering and IEng status are highly desirable.
