Job summary

Registered Nurse responsible for providing professional and technical nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, in a fast-paced hospital setting. Must have RN licensure in Texas, current BLS certification, and at least 12 months of RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency. Requires strong communication, collaboration, and adherence to hospital policies.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides highly professional and technical nursing care to patients within a multidisciplinary team in the operating room. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process for assessment and planning, while ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Qualifications

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of professional nursing and hold a current Texas nursing license. A minimum of 12 months of RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program is required, along with Basic Life Support certification.
