The Patient Care Technician provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision, supporting clinical teams and facilitating telehealth encounters, requiring communication, safety awareness, and basic medical knowledge.
Responsibilities
Provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of licensed clinical team members, supports patients and families, and helps maintain a safe care environment. Conducts rounds, responds promptly to patient needs, maintains unit supplies and equipment, and may assist with virtual safety monitoring and telehealth examinations.
