Provide nursing care to cardiovascular and surgical patients in a stepdown unit, handling complex cardiac conditions and vascular surgeries, under supervision or independently depending on experience, with a focus on delivering effective patient care and managing acute and post-operative cardiovascular cases.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide specialized care for patients in the Cardiovascular Stepdown unit, including those recovering from cardiac procedures and vascular surgeries. The role involves monitoring cardiac dysrhythmias and managing care for patients with myocardial infarctions and other cardiovascular conditions.

Qualifications

ACLS cardiac nursing cardiology patient care vascular surgical patients

Candidates must hold a BSN or be committed to obtaining one within three years and possess at least two years of cardiac stepdown nursing experience. A valid Delaware RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification are also required.
