Job summary

The Forward Deployed Engineer at Salesforce is responsible for delivering end-to-end AI solutions for strategic clients, including designing, developing, and implementing complex AI, LLM-based agents, and automation workflows on the Salesforce platform. The role involves deep customer engagement, technical strategy, solving intricate data and AI deployment challenges, and guiding junior team members.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions directly within enterprise customer environments to drive measurable business impact. Collaborate with Deployment Strategists to translate business challenges into production-ready AI agents and data pipelines.

Qualifications

Agent Frameworks AI Orchestration Frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) AI/LLM Technologies Data Modeling Data Processing & Integration Enterprise Data Platforms Programming (Python, JavaScript, Java, Apex) Prompt Engineering Solution Deployment Technical Debugging & Root Cause Analysis

Requires 3+ years of software engineering experience with a degree in Computer Science and a mandatory background in customer-facing technical delivery. Proficiency in at least one major programming language and hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering is essential.
