Job summary

Provides professional nursing care in a critical care setting, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and utilizing evidence-based practices. Responsible for direct patient management, safety, education, and team leadership in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients, coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support safe, effective outcomes. Educate patients and families, contribute to quality improvement, and support the nursing team through communication, delegation, mentoring, and leadership.

Qualifications

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, a current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license, and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification upon hire. Candidates must demonstrate current nursing knowledge, basic computer skills, and the ability to prioritize care; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
