Job summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer to oversee testing and commissioning activities for HV substations, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project specifications in Dublin, Ireland. The role involves developing commissioning programs, managing safety protocols, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Manage the commissioning phase of utility and data center substation projects while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement digital engineering solutions and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

Development of Commissioning Programs Electrical Safety Standards Electrical Testing and Troubleshooting Health, Safety, and Environmental Requirements Implementation of Safe Systems of Work Mentoring Junior Engineers Project Documentation and Reporting Protection and Control Systems in Substations Testing and Commissioning of HV Substation Equipment

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and proven experience in testing and commissioning HV substation equipment. Candidates must have knowledge of electrical safety standards and the ability to work on-site with travel requirements across Ireland and the EU.
