Job summary

Seeking a maintenance engineer for a high-performance food production facility, responsible for supporting manufacturing and packaging lines, carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, supporting process improvements, and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide technical support across all manufacturing and packaging lines, ensuring optimum equipment reliability and minimal downtime through effective maintenance and diagnostics. They will also support line optimisation and process improvement initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness.

Qualifications

Diagnosing Faults Electrical Electrical Fault Finding Hydraulic Maintenance Activities Mechanical Mechanical Systems PLC-controlled Equipment Pneumatic Process Improvement

Candidates must have a Time-served Engineer qualification or equivalent and proven experience in a fast-moving, semi-automated manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical fault finding, and the ability to work effectively on a continental shift pattern are essential.
