Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Technician assists with processing prescriptions, entering data, and preparing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. They are also responsible for maintaining pharmacy organization, managing records, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

Candidates must be at least 16 or 18 years old depending on location and hold a current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure. Proficiency in computer systems, basic math, and the ability to follow pharmacy procedures and HIPAA guidelines are required.
