Job summary

The Nurse Practitioner manages health problems and coordinates healthcare for gastroenterology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, requiring medical knowledge, multitasking, communication skills, and compliance with healthcare standards.

Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose patients with gastroenterological health concerns, develop and implement care and treatment plans, and evaluate patient status and clinical outcomes. Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other healthcare team members while complying with applicable standards of care and state and federal regulations.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and at least two years of experience, along with a current New Jersey nursing license in good standing. Candidates must hold current DEA and CDS certificates, current BLS and ACLS provider cards, and have or be eligible for hospital privileges.
