Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) in ICU provides critical patient care in a specialized unit, coordinating comprehensive treatments, ensuring patient safety, and applying evidence-based practices amid a team of mentors in a community hospital setting.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care within the ICU using the nursing process to ensure safe and therapeutic outcomes. They will utilize evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making to foster a safe environment and high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

Candidates must have completed an accredited nursing program and hold a valid Registered Nurse license. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), with the expectation to obtain ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
