Job summary

A senior role leading Environment, Health and Safety initiatives at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. Providing expert advice, managing risks, ensuring compliance, and promoting safety culture.

Responsibilities

Provide expert EHS guidance and continuously improve site management systems, including conducting risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations. Deliver training, monitor performance, support environmental compliance and emergency preparedness, and advise site leadership on risk reduction and corrective actions.

Requires significant EHS experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, or another highly regulated environment, a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification, and strong knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation. Candidates should have experience with investigations, risk assessments, audits, corrective actions, and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, alongside strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
