Job summary

The Microbiology Analyst 1 will perform microbiological testing such as Filtration, Colilert, Pour Plate, and Product testing according to safety policies and cGMP. Responsibilities include recording results, investigating out-of-specification results, maintaining documentation and SOPs, supporting validation and clean verification activities, and assisting with investigations, equipment verification, and waste control in a microbiology laboratory within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.

Responsibilities

The Microbiology Analyst will perform various microbiological tests, including filtration and product testing, while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with cGMP standards. They are also responsible for laboratory stock control, equipment verification, and assisting with out-of-specification investigations.

The role requires the ability to perform repetitive testing and maintain laboratory SOPs in a state of compliance. Candidates must be able to work as directed by the supervisor and support the Lean Laboratory program.
