Job summary

The Registered Nurse – Med/Surg works in a collaborative environment at Nazareth Hospital to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patients, developing care plans, and performing complex patient-care procedures. They work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, evidence-based care in an acute setting.

Qualifications

acute care assessment BLS (Basic Life Support) care planning certification clinical judgment interdisciplinary teamwork medication administration nursing procedures patient care

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program and hold a current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license. A minimum of BLS certification is required, and prior acute care experience is preferred.
