Job summary

The RN Behavioral Health / BH Crisis Assessment role involves providing specialized nursing care to high-risk behavioral health patients, conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and responding to crises in a pediatric healthcare setting during night shifts.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, developmentally appropriate care to pediatric patients with behavioral health needs as part of an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, responding to behavioral emergencies, and ensuring a safe environment through proactive monitoring and clinical support.

Candidates must hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing and possess a valid Nebraska RN license and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include two years of psychiatric nursing experience, pediatric experience, and proficiency with the EPIC electronic health record system.
