Job summary

The Senior Accountant assists with monthly financial closing, bank reconciliations, and issuance of financial statements, including GL reconciliations, journal entries, invoice processing, inventory entries, and financial analysis, supporting audits and statutory filings.

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant manages monthly financial closing, GL reconciliations, and the issuance of financial statements. They are also responsible for accounts payable, inventory control system entries, and preparing statutory and sales tax filings.

Qualifications

Accounting Accounts Payable Bank Reconciliation ERP Systems Financial Reporting Foreign Currency Translation GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) General Ledger (GL) Reconciliation Inventory Control System Microsoft Excel

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, with a CPA, CA, or CMA certification preferred. Candidates must have 5 or more years of experience in private industry or public accounting and strong knowledge of US and Canadian GAAP.
