Job summary

Assist physicians in patient assessment, diagnostic procedures, and clinical care in a healthcare setting, maintaining patient flow, documenting vital signs, and ensuring smooth office operations.

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant supports physicians by managing patient flow, performing diagnostic procedures like EKGs and phlebotomy, and documenting vital signs. They also act as a liaison to ensure patient satisfaction and maintain clinical supply inventory.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and obtain Medical Assistant certification within six months of hire. A BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required within 90 days of starting the position.
