Job summary

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer maintains manufacturing assets through proactive and reactive repairs, root cause analysis, and safety procedures, supporting improvement initiatives in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain manufacturing assets through proactive and reactive maintenance, using a multi-skilled approach and following health and safety procedures. Investigate equipment failures, report work in the CMMS, support reliability and improvement initiatives, and issue permits and supervise contractors.

Qualifications

Abrasive Wheels CMMS System Health and Safety Procedures Maintenance Mech/Electrical/Multi Skilled Engineering PAT Testing PLC Qualifications Risk Assessment Root Cause Analysis Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)

An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled engineering is essential; candidates with a mechanical specialism must provide evidence of cross-skilling. Desirable qualifications and skills include 18th Edition wiring regulations, PAT testing, PLCs, abrasive wheels, welding, IOSH, and machine safety training.
