Job summary

Seeking Principal Software Engineers with backend experience to develop and optimize large-scale data platforms supporting scientific research, including API design, scalable database management, cloud infrastructure, and collaboration with scientists and ML engineers.

Responsibilities

Design and build high-performance APIs and scalable database architectures to support the AI Science Factory. Collaborate cross-functionally with scientists and ML engineers to integrate data pipelines and cloud infrastructure into scientific workflows.

Qualifications

API development backend system design Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes) CRUd services (SQL Alchemy, FastAPI, Django) Database architecture Full Stack Development (React, TypeScript, FastAPI) NoSQL Orchestration systems (Airflow, Prefect, Temporal, Dagster) Python for Science (pandas, numpy, scipy, jax, pytorch) SQL

Requires 8-15 years of experience in building large-scale production systems with strong expertise in scalable backend design and full-stack development. Proficiency in Python, various database systems, and orchestration tools is essential.
