The role is for an experienced Senior Staff Data Engineer responsible for leading design, development, and scaling of enterprise data platforms, building scalable data solutions, maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data security, governance, and collaborating across teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

The Senior Staff Data Engineer will lead the architecture and engineering of an enterprise AI-ready semantic data platform to ensure consistent business data understanding. This role involves defining semantic architecture, establishing reusable data contracts, and partnering with AI teams to integrate conversational analytics.

Qualifications

Apache Airflow AWS Cloud Technologies (Snowflake, Google BigQuery) Data Architecture Data Engineering DBT Distributed Systems ELT pipelines Fivetran Snowflake

Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in semantic layer implementation. Proficiency in modern analytical warehouses like Snowflake or Databricks, dbt, and strong software engineering fundamentals in SQL and Python are required.
