Job summary

The Aurora Localization team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and test high-precision vehicle positioning solutions using sensor data and state estimation techniques, crucial for safe autonomous vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain localization solutions for estimating the pose of vehicles and trailers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rigorously test and verify the safety and efficiency of the localization system.

Qualifications

C++ IMU Kalman Filtering lidar non-linear estimation Python radar sensor fusion SLAM state estimation

Requires 5+ years of industry experience in a production environment and a graduate-level degree in CS, Robotics, or EE. Candidates must possess deep knowledge of state estimation theory, sensor fusion, and modern C++ and Python programming.
