Verkada is seeking a Hardware Engineering Intern to design and develop cameras, sensors, and IoT products, handling electrical design from prototype to manufacturing. The role involves collaborating with experienced engineers on hardware validation, circuit testing, and working with manufacturing partners, requiring electrical engineering knowledge, hands-on skills, and strong communication. The internship is full-time, based in San Mateo, CA, starting around January, and offers benefits after 90 days.

Responsibilities

You will partner with experienced engineers to design, debug, and validate hardware products including cameras and sensors. You will also be responsible for schematic capture, layout, and collaborating with manufacturing partners to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Candidates must be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a graduation year of 2027 or 2028. You should have experience with electronic test equipment, schematic design, and board-level validation.
