The Counsel, AI Governance, Law & Compliance supports legal and compliance aspects of AI systems, translating AI laws into guidance, assessing AI use case risks, and partnering with stakeholders to foster responsible AI practices in the life sciences sector.

Responsibilities

The Counsel provides legal and compliance support for the design, development, and deployment of AI systems across the enterprise. They translate global AI regulations into practical guidance and conduct legal risk assessments for AI initiatives.

Qualifications

AI governance and compliance AI lifecycle management Contract negotiation Data privacy laws (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) Industry-specific AI applications (Life sciences, healthcare) Knowledge of AI laws and standards Legal research and drafting Regulatory interpretation Risk assessment Stakeholder management

Candidates must hold a JD degree and active bar membership with 5-7 years of legal experience. A minimum of 2 years of substantive experience in AI legal and compliance or AI governance is required.
