Job summary

The Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer will focus on Continuous Improvement for actuator products, leading failure analysis, root cause investigations, and design changes to eliminate defects, improve reliability, and support global manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Lead the mechanical design and industrialization of high-performance actuator products for humanoid robotic platforms from architecture to mass production. Provide technical leadership, mentor design engineers, and ensure product reliability through rigorous validation and manufacturing collaboration.

Qualifications

CAD design for manufacturability electromechanical assemblies Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) failure analysis JAMA Jira PLM systems Root Cause Analysis Smartsheets

Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 7 years of experience in electromechanical product design and launch. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in 3D CAD, GD&T, and the ability to manage complex hardware assemblies in high-rigor environments.
