Job summary

Databricks seeks a highly experienced Backline Engineer to handle complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and architecture optimization within the Data & AI ecosystem. Responsibilities

The role involves deep-dive forensics into Spark core internals and the broader Data & AI ecosystem to resolve high-priority architectural failures and complex system anomalies through advanced code-level analysis. Responsibilities also include optimizing architectural performance, partnering with Engineering on product improvements based on global issue trends, and developing automated tooling to scale resolution paths.

Proven experience managing both customers and technical stakeholders is required.
