Job summary

The Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at Databricks works directly with federal government customers to develop and implement data and AI solutions using the Databricks platform. The role involves owning system architecture, leading design choices, and executing comprehensive data engineering, AI, and application development projects. It requires customer engagement, system integration, and training to ensure clients maximize value from their data, with a focus on scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities

You will lead the architecture and delivery of production-grade data and AI solutions for federal government customers. This involves working cross-functionally to scope technical projects and embedding with client teams to ensure successful adoption of the Databricks platform.

Qualifications

Apache Spark CI/CD Cloud ecosystems distributed computing end-to-end data architectures JavaScript/TypeScript ML/AI models PySpark Python Scala

Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience in data or software engineering with proficiency in Python, Scala, and distributed computing frameworks. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a secret security clearance are mandatory requirements for this role.
