Job summary

Assist in preparing and serving healthy school meals, creating a positive lunchtime environment for pupils, following food safety standards, and supporting team operations in a school catering setting.

Responsibilities

The Catering Assistant will help prepare and serve nutritious school meals while maintaining a safe and welcoming dining environment. They will also be responsible for covering the Unit Catering Supervisor role during periods of absence to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Qualifications

Candidates must have previous catering and food-preparation experience and possess good customer service and communication skills. The role requires the ability to work effectively as part of a team and the provision of a car for business use.
