Job summary

The role is for a Senior Manager leading Field Engineering teams at Databricks, focusing on manufacturing and high-tech enterprise segments. Responsibilities include managing a team of Solutions Architects, driving customer success through Data and AI solutions, overseeing technical qualifications, and collaborating with sales and internal teams to meet growth targets.

Responsibilities

Lead, hire, coach, and develop a team of Solutions Architects serving telecommunications customers, while building a strong hiring pipeline and maintaining the team’s technical expertise. Partner with Sales and internal teams to achieve revenue and consumption targets, guide customer architecture and technical evaluations, and deliver successful Data and AI outcomes.

Qualifications

Big Data Customer Success Data + AI Data Science Enterprise Software Leadership Machine Learning Pre-sales Solution Architecture Team Management

Requires at least 3 years of experience building and leading technical pre-sales teams and at least 7 years of experience in the Data and AI field with a technical product. Candidates should demonstrate strong architectural influence, technical credibility with executives and engineering leaders, and experience coaching teams, collaborating across functions, and guiding customer evaluations and solutions.
