Job summary

Apprentice role in electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering within the nuclear sector, combining technical education and practical experience across various engineering disciplines, with rotations, academic training, and potential for professional registration.

Responsibilities

The apprentice will rotate through placements to design, build, and maintain specialist nuclear facilities while gaining hands-on engineering experience. Responsibilities include working with control systems, reactor protection, and radiological monitoring equipment under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Qualifications

Control Systems Electrical Engineering Instrumentation PLC Radiological Monitoring Reactor Protection SCADA

Candidates must hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including Maths, English, and Science. Additionally, applicants need 104 UCAS points at A Level (including Maths and Physics) or equivalent qualifications such as BTEC, T Level, or an Access Course.
